I
had the pleasure of working with Lorri when we were both employed at
Women's American ORT. She served as the National Director of Planned
Giving and was primarily responsible for taking a fledding department
and creating a highly functioning division. It is because of her
vision, preseverance and persistance that the department continues to
bring in millions of dollars annually. When she began, the concept of
Planned Giving was little understood by lay leaders and staff, while
today it is accepted and embraced as a critical fundraising arm of the
organization, much to her credit.When Lorri began her consulting career, I immediately enlisted Lorri to help us design and implement a Major Gifts Campaign. With Lorri's guidance and leadership, we launched the Diamond Ladder Campaign. This campaign was Women's American ORT first real major gift campaign. It swas initially met with some skepticism, given that we were asking for a substantial financial commitment, as well as a minimum three year commitment. But, with Lorri's leadership, we forged ahead and today, the Diamond Ladder Campaign is bringing in millions of dollars.
Lorri is the consummate professional who can get a job done despite organizational challenges. She works well with both staaff and lay leaders alike and fully dedicates herself to the organization for which she works. I would recommend her, hands down, to any organization who wishes to succeed.
